Headliner Details

DANIEL JOHNSON has had a lifelong interest in ancient cultures, especially from the Americas. Since 1999 he has led friends on excursions to Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras and has given firesides about his research of Book of Mormon lands. He served a mission in the Buenos Aires North and Mendoza Argentina missions so he speaks fluent Spanish. He currently works as a digital artist and teaches at colleges around the San Francisco Bay Area. Dan is a contributor to the Book of Mormon Archaeological Forum, having written articles and given presentations for them. He is also the principal author of An LDS Guide to Mesoamerica and An LDS Guide to the Yucatan, a new book for 2012.
