Curtis Jacobs was born in Ogden, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. He served a mission to Alaska. He returned to USU where he met his wife Jolene and they have four children and four grandchildren. He received his Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University.
He loves racquetball and has been an advisor to the USU racquetball team. He loves old movies, great musicals and traveling. He has spoken in more than half of the States in the USA, Canada and New Zealand.
He received a “Who’s Who Among American Teacher’s” award in 2002 and 2008. He is an author and has several talks on CD. He has spoken at BYU Education Week, Know Your Religion and EFY. He has been a Bishop of a Student Ward at Utah State, and served in the USU 1st Stake Presidency. Brother Jacobs started teaching for the Church Education System in Arizona and then in Utah, both at UVU (formerly UVSC) and Utah State.
