He is married to Johanne Frechette Perry.
Johanne Fréchette Perry is originally from Montréal, Canada, but grew up in the Los Angeles area where she joined the LDS church as a teenager. She graduated with honors from BYU in Music Dance Theater and toured world-wide with the Young Ambassadors. She is a member of the four-woman vocal group, One Clear Voice. Johanne is the featured actress in “Polly—A One-Woman Musical,” which she has performed hundreds of times across the US. She teaches drama part-time at American Heritage, a private school in American Fork.
Steve & Johanne have volunteered with ReachTheChildren.org in Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana. Steve currently serves as gospel doctrine teacher and Johanne is ward choir director in their home ward in Cedar Hills, Utah.
The Perrys love music, the gospel of Jesus Christ, each other, and their four children.
